1176148 I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (Maya Angelou's Autobiography, #1) by Maya Angelou

I listened to this book, narrated by the author. It was a story of her shuffling homes starting at 5, the strong women in her family, in her life, and the determination she had to break the barriers in her life.

In all 3.5 stars.

1176148 Finished Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell last night. It was sooo good. Scarlett is quite the selfish little thing I will say. But I can see a lot of thinking, manners, and ideas still alive living in Deep South Mississippi today. After growing up in the North (Iowa) - yes I am what they call a Damn Yankee because I have now lived here 17 years - it definitely shows me a different perspective. Very interesting, entertaining, comical, and sincere. Enjoyed it very much.

1176148 I started Gone With the Wind (pg. 160). It is a little slow as this book has pretty little print. So far I am enjoying it, she is just getting to Atlanta.
