117857 Obviously I haven't told you what a rebel I am! Decided I didn't want to read the whole series, so just read the ones I was interested in. I think you liked her more than I did. I didn't dislike her, her books just weren't 5 star for me.

That's what makes horse racing, as the old saying goes.

117857 C., it's been a bit since I read the series, so I have wool brain when it comes to thinking about reviews like yours. I think I also read pretty uncritically, just because I was enjoying the books so much. I kept them (I send most of the books I read out into the Universe to find their new homes) & will hopefully reread them before too much longer, and my rereads always pay more attention to these kind of details, since I'm not avidly reading for plot.

How did you get on with Castle Cottage?

117857 I reached the top! 100 books = Mt. Everest done & dusted! Now I need to start posting in the next level but don't know how to get started there.

2C.Death of a Celebrity was added to my TBR mountain 8/31/2009.

2D.Wild Indigo

Wild Inferno

Wild Sorrow

Wild Penance

I chose these 4 books not only because they are a series, but also because the first two words are physical and the last two are emotional.

I would C., if I knew how to do it. Some aspects of GR confuzzle me!

117857 Carolyn, I'm so sorry I missed this thread out. I send lots of warm, comforting hugs your way, with empathy, since I lost my Charlie over a year ago and still see her sweet face in the corners. I wonder if I'll ever be able to have another cat -- I haven't been able to relate to any others since she's gone. Housesitting at the moment, which includes 2 cats, and there just isn't any spark. I've been wanting a border collie mix -- maybe it's time to do dogs instead of cats?

I will say that the pain of losing your pet slowly eases, and I assume becomes just a faint memory with time. At least I hope that's how it works!

I did it! (Looks around in amazement!) I doubt I can read another 50 books to meet the next level, but I'm certainly not going to stop reading, so guess I'll give it a go!

I've read 3 other books, but none of those were in my TBR stack, and I'm only counting TBR books for this challenge.
