Not really sure if it would could count as Literary Fiction but I did just finish The Changeling by Victor Lavalle. It was something that I read for a Goodreads book club and something I would have never picked up on my own and I LOVED it.

This is such a great challenge for me, as I am trying to get out of my reading shell and spread my wings and read new and different things. It's one reason I LOVE bookclubs so much.

Level One: Test the Waters (1 New Author)
1. Victor Lavalle - The Changeling - this is a book I would have NEVER picked up on my own. I am reading it for a Goodreads bookclub and boy am i glad I did. I loved it. It was something so out of my normal comfort zone.

This is great as I have a TON of books by new authors in my TBR. I’m really going to try new genres and authors in 2018!
