Grover is Percy's best bud. They've been in the same school(Yancy Academy). Grover is actually a satyr. He needs to protect Percy,not just because they're friends,but because Grover will not get a searcher's license if he doesn't. In the end,Grover gets his searcher's license and stays friends with Percy.

Annabeth is Percy Jackson's girlfriend. They have been through a lot together. Fighting monsters,making a chariot,even falling into Tartarus. They'll stick together no matter what.
