Lots of people say that ebook series writers do best when we make the first volume FREE and then keep putting volumes out. I wasn't sure, but I am now a believer. In the first four days of having Volume I free of my sci-fi / romance/ multiverse/ paranormal/ utopian adult/young and new adult series, I have had over 10 times as many downloads as in all 3.5 of the sales months (at $3.99) put together!Do they read or just download? Remains to be seen!

Vol. II BLURB: "This Changes My Family and My Life Forever" is the story of the first five years After Public Contact with the Many Worlds Collective (2013-2018), "The Transition" to full membership for Earth. Many of the changes, reactions, struggles and circumstances accompanying these years are related from the points of view of the main character, Dr. Clara Branon's, adult son and his cousins as well as some of those cousins' children. One of Clara's nephews in particular, Moran Ackerman, who becomes Chief of the Psi-Warriors and all OverSeers, tells of his experiences and training in assuming those roles for Earth after having been a Rabbi and teacher of middle school. TCMF&MLF's content is edited/curated and also partly narrated by Esperanza Enlaces, Clara's Chief Media Contact, a contemporary of her son's, so some of her story and many parts of Clara's are included as well.

Do any of you visit, belong to, or post your books on Authonomy or Wattpad as excerpts and for getting/giving pre-pub comments/support/reviews? Experiences? What are the best sites (besides my own blog) to serialize my next Volume (sci-fi/romance/paranormal/multiverse/utopian for adults/new and young adults) starting in mid-March through early June? Thanks.I asked this on several group pages about 30 minutes ago.
So far, more votes for Wattpad than Authonomy, which is the opposite of my experience last summer/early fall, but that was for my first book, This Changes Everything. For Vol II, I have more contacts, readers, maybe even a fan or two, so things may be different.
I plan to excerpt/serialize on my Series pages via my own blog on Wordpress and Tumblr which goes on both FB and Google + (I only had FB series page for Volume I) as well as my personal pages on LinkedIn and FB, and on both Authonomy and Wattpad, but I wondered if there were other options, out of my own network, so to speak?
