I honestly really liked this book. It was full of tropes and I was here for that. The characters kept "splitting up" only to return back together within a couple of pages and I found it a tad predictable but if I'm honest that's what I was wanting from this duology. It was simple and well executed. Rune was a great FMC and I loved Gideon, their dynamic was really good.
