Helga could hear the excitement in Eva's voice, it was hardly noticeable, but it was clear that she got happy thinking about her childhood. "I'm also from Sweden, although I grew up a bit more up north, in a forest in Dalarna. I was raised by the trees and the wild animals, and the moss was my bed." Helga relaxed a bit when she thought about the soft beds of grass, moss, and other materials from nature that she made every night in the forest. Sometimes she would miss it, but then she would remember that she was there for a mission, to make real friends and to explore the world outside of the woods. "What is your favorite childhood memory?" Helga blurted out, trying to make conversation.

Helga stopped for a second. She didn't know how to keep the conversation going. She could communicate with animals, and that was how she was used talk. But a conversation with a person was different, and the encounters she had with humans in her past were rarely vocal. She decided to take a risk and go a bit more personal. "Göthberg" She said in a thoughtful voice "It sounds Scandinavian, possibly swedish? Do you have roots connected to Sweden, perhaps?"

"Very nice" Helga agreed. "Although, I don't have much to compare to, considering growing up in a forest, but it seems like everyone is having a good time here." Thinking about the woods made her mind drift, and suddenly she was running through the woods, along with the deers and hares. Above her head the birds flew amongst the tree tips while they sang their song to greet her. It only lasted for a moment, and a second later she found herself standing at the the school's Fall Carnival. "I'm here for a similar reason. I needed to take a break from it all, plus, this seemed as a great way of connecting to the other students and learning a bit more about the social life here."

"For real?" Helga's voice revealed the relief she felt over the fact that Miss Eva didn't get mad or punish her for being clumpsy. "Thank you, and hello Miss Eva, by the way. I'm pretty sure I forgot to great you. I'm usually very aware of my surroundings, but today, clearly not so much". As she spoke she gathered herself to her normal state, calm, not so worked up, talking in a more modest way. "Ehm, what brings you here, If you don't mind me asking?" When she spoke she realized that she probably sounded really rude and rushed to explain herself. "I know that the carnival is for everyone at school, but you're the first teacher I've seen here." A small drop of hot chocolate had been slowly making it's way down the side of the mug, and when it reached Helga's hand, she twitched from the sudden burning feeling.

When Helga bumped into the person she could feel the liquid inside of the mug move, and she quickly hurried to make sure she didn't spill anything. Then she looked up and made eye contact with miss Evelina, her history teacher. "Hello, Miss Helga. It's a nice surprise to see you here." She didn't seem mad about the fact that Helga had just bumped into her and almost got hot cocoa all over her clothes. "I'm so sorry, Miss. I really didn't mean to walk into you. I was just really distracted, please forgive me." Helga apologised and hoped she didn't come of as to awkward, she hadn't really gotten all the social ques yet.

Helga was on the lookout for the hot chocolate. She had never had it before, and when the other students heard that they were clearly surprised and told her that she HAD to try it. To be fair, she had lived in a forest all her life, and in the deep Scandinavian woods, there are no cocoa beans. After walking around for a bit, she finally found the stand. "One hot chocolate, please" she said and handed over the money to the person behind the stand. The person put the lid on the cup and put it in Helgas reached out hand. As she turned around she took the first sip, and her first impression was that it was really, really, hot. Her second impression was that she enjoyed the sweet yet deep flavour. As she just started walking, overwhelmed by this new taste, she bumped into someone.

History: Helga is a scandinavian wood sprite. She has been around for a long time, protecting her forest. The forest is located in northern Sweden, the deepest parts still being undiscoverd by men. In the past she used show herself to only the humans she deemed worthy to wander further into the woods. But that was a long time ago, now she mostly keeps to herself far into the woods, hiding away from society. She got lonely, and that was when she found the Academy. She figured that she wouldn't have to hide from others with similar powers, and that trying couldn't hurt.

Looks: Helga is actually like, really old, but she looks 16. As she is a skogsrå she more or less looks the same age all the time. She is quite beautiful, her hair being long, wavy, and blonde, her eyes light blue, and her skin fair. But one way of telling that Helgs's not human is her hollowod out back, it's like an old tree. She is 5'4 and slim. She usually wears light dresses, but always with whole backs to cover the hole.

Personality: Helga is reserved and likes to be to herself, but doesn't mind a little company. She tries to be more talkative and be more visible, even tho she has spent most of her life in hiding. She has an incredibly good sense of who to trust and who to not, as that is literally in her job description. When she feels threatened or over stimulated she finds the closest tree, plant, animal, anything that has any kind of tie to nature really. It makes her feel safe and at home. She's very helpful and always seemes to know where you're supposed to go. Helga can also seem a bit over protective about her possessions and the people she loves.

Powers:
~ Helga can shape shift into forest animals and sometimes into real people, depending on if she's having a good day or not.
~ She can create mirrages
~ She has the ability to talk to alive things if all kinds, such as animals, birds, and (depending on what kind) even plants.
~ Helga can put a protection spell on animals, making it impossible to harm them in any way.
~ Projectile controll is a power that allows Helga to bless, or curse, a weapon, making sure that it either always hits or always misses its target. (Not applicable to swords/spears/staffs, or anything like that.)
~ In well known surroundings she can also "disappear" and shape shift so that she almost melts into the background.
