Feeling we just got a glimpse at Mordon. I wouldn't mind knowing more about him.

Draven was an awesome morally gray character! He definitely helped the dynamic of the story and will be looking forward to reading more about him. I would not have him as an ally unless it was for a strategic purpose. I wouldn't want to get rid of him either cause he might have some use in the future.

I can see the shadows to be a curse of sorts as they ultimately end up killing their host. But if controlled, they could be of some value. Kind of unpredictable as well, since it seems they pick their hosts. So, I guess it all depends on if the host is an ally, cause if they only care about themselves, it will probably cause world domination aspirations.

I believe Natassa's journey throughout this series will definitely return to the throne whether by claiming it or saving it, which could ultimately end in her demise.

Velamir is the "conflicted" good guy of the series. My take on it is that he is a hero and depending on the rest of the books in the series, there might be other heroes as well (maybe the heroes are boys and/or girls).

Hey everyone! I think the empire will be renewed under some new leadership. Not exactly sure how this will take place or who will be wearing the crown, but I think more than one person could claim the throne for a new empire.
