Ladies, one of the things I have come to realise is that books do not promote themselves and ratings and reviews don't magically appear either.

One of the biggest gifts you can give an Indie author is the gift of your ratings and reviews. These ratings and reviews help Indie authors significantly, because not only does it help with people's decisions to purchase books, but it also gives Indie authors an idea on whether their books are accepted and liked. So can I ask you all to please rate and review, not only on Goodreads, but also on Amazon USA/UK and Smashwords. I know all authors would be grateful to you.

Promotion takes up a lot of time for an author and that's time they should really be spending writing the next book for us to devour. So if you are a big fan of a specific book or author I suggest that you share, share, share the details with anyone who will listen. This helps the author to get the word out there to the readers such as yourselves.

I will start, I am Kaylene Osborn and I am the mother of the author. I live in Adelaide South Australia with my daughter and a few pets. I love reading, and really love reading contemporary romance but I am not limited to that. I help KE Osborn with editing and promotion and it takes up a fair amount of my day. I also work full time in the IT industry and I am an Admin on the facebook blog Magic Within the Pages. I am also a member of two Street Teams for authors. I love helping authors promote their books out to the world, its fun and of course it helps them to make a living. I really hope you enjoy the group, and please contact me if you want to discuss anything at all, anytime :)
