It's good and fun, but also a bit overhyped. All of the books are about 4-stars, in my opinion. There is a fair amount of insta-lust and the characters are all average, but the setting makes it a fun twist on common stories and tropes. I'd still recommend it, but I don't think it's life-changing

I read all of the books through Ignite Me. They're all amazing so far! Ignite Me was definitely the best one. I'm taking a little break but will probably circle back. Worth giving a try but the writing style takes some getting used to!

Absolutely worth it! One of my favorite series of all time. A Court of Mist and Fury is the book that singlehandedly got me to start reading again back in 2020, and here I am 600 books later...LOL. Definitely worth a try! Book 1 is slower because you need to understand the world-building, but books 2 and 3 are literally perfect.

Personally this was not for me. Everyone loves it, so I read Twisted Love (and hated it...2 stars from me) and Twisted Games (which was OK...3 stars from me). They are both extremely insta-lust, so I was bored. I have not and will not continue the series.

This was not for me--I really hated this book. It's pretty icky, and the main couple is toxic. The FMC, Tate, is a bit of a doormat while Miles is cruel/walks all over her.

Eh...it was really good in the first 5 books, and then it went really downhill after Cursed Fates. It's kind of sad now because the authors just keep prolonging it and withholding the ending that the fans deserve. I think it's fine if the authors want to write bonus content, novellas, and/or about other characters in the series, but fans really need closure for the whole Vega twins/heirs storyline. I personally think that the authors are incapable of editing down their work. Books should not be 1200 pages of filler when it's book 9 of a series...

Anyways, to sum up: book 1 is awful, books 2-5 are awesome, books 6-8 are too long/filler/not worth the time tbh. I will probably read book 9 when it comes out just so get some closure to this series.

YES! It is absolutely worth the hype. I had low expectations for it because I thought it was going to be another overhyped booktok book with paid ARC reviewers. I was so wrong. It was incredible! There are times that the writing is a littttle YA, but the story and the characters are so incredible. Worth it!

Yes! The 1st book is slower and mostly focused on setting up the world and important back story. The series gets SO GOOD in books 2 and 3. Definitely worth reading Glint and Gleam. Enjoy!!
