Marriage is a bond that grows with time and children make it even more stronger. 2 years is sufficient to understand each other. you get emotionally connected to the other. But in cases like Katherine whose main purpose is to acquire the assets of her husband it's better to eliminate such people from one's life at the earliest. when the question is about distribution of assets , I think it should be done considering the reason behind the separation. Also it should be fairly done prioritizing the children's future, The legal proceedings should be done after thorough investigation to avoid unfair justice. Also Children should get a bigger share of the assets as they are the ones to lose everything after the separation. Such situations needs careful handling and patience only then I feel a fair distribution should be done.
