I have several favorite quotes but the one that stands out most for me is from Lover Avenged by JR Ward. I immediately flagged that section the book and when I was done reading the book I added to my signature line on one of my email accounts.“Life is such a glorious trauma, is it not?”

My favorite color is red and black. But I like just about every variation of red. So, pinks to burgundy.
Harry Potter fans listen up! New things are brewing over at Pottermore (pottermore.com) the internet home of the Potter wizarding world. New Harry Potter tales are being published directly to the site by JK Rowling. Up already is a further family background of the Potters (https://www.pottermore.com/writing-by...). All Potter fans should check to site out.
My TV obsession of the moment is Tyler Perry's The Have's and the Have Nots. Full of angst, deception and crack pots. Just love it. Unfortunately, the season finally was this week but that okay because the new season of Empire is on. Then also there is the Bastard Executioner on FX and its pretty good.
Brief rant for the week. Work + homework = less personal reading time.
Work + homework + leisurely reading = NO SLEEP
Must find a way to do it all.

Diana,
I will agree with you. Books are different lengths and if it is a really good one I will not put it down. I walk everywhere with my Kindle and my phone has my kindle app + Kobo + other reading apps. I have been known to read two to three books per week but then again sometimes it has taken me a couple of weeks to read a book. Mostly those are crap-tastic books that I feel guilty about putting down.

I've been reading a couple of things. Just finished Hold Me Down (Deacons of Bourbon Street 3) by Jackie Asenden
This isn't really a rant but I am discovering that I may have an issue. Last week I had this bright idea that I was going to put all the books that are on my kindle on my TBR list. I THOUGHT that there were only about 100 books on there. Which in my mind wasn't a problem but when I was finally able to get a good count there were over 470 books. Then I started going through my other reading apps and there is another 200 books there. Then I looked at the other stacks of books I have piled around (next to my bed, living room tables, dining room table and car) and there are another 20 to 30. I think I have a problem.
