The second prompt is about exploring the books that are related to oppressive treatment. I read We Should All Be Feminists. It was on my TBR for long, that made me wonder why I took so much time to pick it. The book is an essay that was adapted from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's (author) Tedx Talk. I feel many times people misunderstood the term "feminism". I’ll admit when I first heard it (years ago), I wasn’t sure about its significance .
In this book, you’ll find examples and an analysis of feminism and why it’s important, which clears up all the confusion. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It’s short, but has a huge impact.

I have started the Reading Challenge 2024 with the first prompt - A place that I want to visit. Though I have a long list of places that I want to visit or should I put that everyplace is on my list :POne such place is Banaras (Also known as Varanasi). When I read the prompt, I immediately started searching for books related to the place. I wanted to visit the place when in 90s Palash Sen (a song writer and musician) from Euphoria band composed an indi pop song "Dhoom Pichuck Dhoom" that was shot in the streets and Ghats of Banaras. Since then I have an urge to visit Banaras and still hoping to visit soon.
I wanted to read a book written by Indian author but while looking for recommendations found Piers Moore Ede's Kaleidoscope City: A Year in Varanasi. The author explored the place that unfolds the stories of various people and place of Varanasi Kaleidoscope City: A Year in Varanasi
