34/100 - ARC of The Scoundrel's Lover by Jess Michaels. It was a great book and I can't wait for Crispin's story. Annabelle and Marcus are HOT!

20/100 - Barefoot in Pearls by Roxanne St. Claire. Loved it! 5 stars! I've missed her Bullet Catchers series and this book starts leaning back towards the romantic suspense she's so good at writing.

12/100 - The Secrets of a Scoundrel by Gaelen Foley. The first half was great and then it went downhill. Makes me wish Goodreads allowed for 1/2 star ratings. I'd give it 3.5 - 4 stars for the 1st half and 3 for the last.

4/100 - Hard to Come By by Laura Kaye. Great series, but wish I had started it after all the books were released. Each book has a standalone romance, but there's an ongoing mystery that continues through them all.

3/100 - A Measure of Deceit by Jess Michaels. A great ending to the trilogy! I really liked the Scottish hero!

1/100 - ARC of The Girls of Mischief Bay by Susan Mallery. Beautiful book and highly recommend, but you'll need Kleenex for sure!
2/100 - Say Yes to the Marquess by Tessa Dare. Love her books and this was a great read!

I read 250 last year, but this year I'm setting my goal at 100. I found a cool reading challenge on Facebook and I'm trying it out and it's challenging me to read books I normally wouldn't.

12/200 Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner. It was fabulous!
Millie wrote: "I really enjoy historical romance, erotic historical and romantic mystery the best but I also enjoy non-fiction as well."I read a lot of great books this past year, but I really loved Highlander Most Wanted by Maya Banks. I'd also recommend the Fool's Gold series by Susan Mallery and Jess Michaels' Pleasure Wars series. If you want something outside of romance - one of the best mystery books I read this past year was Second Watch by JA Jance. I was in tears at the end. Her Beaumont series is great!

My name is Lesley and I'm happy to be a part of the group. As I get older I enjoy to read mostly romances that give me an HEA. However, I also enjoy a good mystery as well. Among the authors I enjoy reading are Jess Michaels, Susan Mallery, Maya Banks, Jill Shalvis, Robyn Carr, JA Jance, Lisa Gardner, Barbara Freethy, and Sabrina Jeffries. That's just a few. I'm currently reading the FBI/US Attorney series by Julie James and loving it!

I'm sticking with my 2013 goal of 200 books for this year as well. I surpassed that, so we'll see if I can do it again.
