She nodded, her eyes shutting both in comfort and in trying prevent the tears from falling. "We're together now. Now and forever."
She slowly sunk into him, all her pain worry anxiety melting away as she did so. "I've missed you so much, Cass," she confessed, tears pricking at her eyes.
She frowned a little, but... she couldn't resist him. She'd missed him way too much. She laid back against him slowly and said, "If it's too much, please tell me."
"Liar," she murmured, pulled away, "What's wrong?" She asked, making sure she wasn't touching his leg.
She blushed softly and climbed into the bed slowly, trying not to touch his legs. "Good?" She asked when she finally got comfortable.
She winced, "I know. We'll talk. But first.." she trailed off and kissed him as gently as she could.
Isabella wrote: "(( i need someone to give me the sparknotes on the story progression between cass and gabi. last i saw was the stabbing ))"((there's no cliffnotes

"I love you too, Cass. We're okay." She promised, reaching over and grabbed his hand. "That's a conversation for when you get out of here, okay?"
She bit her lip and shook her head, "No. I didn't mean that." She promised, "I meant all the good stuff."
And with that, she moved way closer to him, touching the bed. From where she was, it felt like they were worlds apart, "I love you, Cass."
"Are... are you?" She asked, thinking she already knew the answer. But.. she had to be sure. Had to be.
"When I told you I love you?" She asked, her heart swelling with hope. "When I pleaded with you not to leave me? That wasn't just about you dying, Cass. I meant it when I said I was selfish. And I meant every word I said even more."
She looked down at her arm and shrugged softly. "Guess I am. It was news to me." She swallowed roughly, "Of course I came." She said, her eyes widening in emphasis.
She inhaled sharply, looking at him, "Oh. Um. Hey." She said softly, biting her lip awkwardly. She tried reading his expression but it was close to impossible. She had no idea if he was happy or mad to see her. Sad or confused.
Gabriella eventually was allowed into the room. She hesitated for a moment, but she eventually went in. Seeing him lying peacefully on the bed, eyes shut, steady breathing made her heart swell. He'd be okay. He's okay. But it also made her panic. Had he meant everything he said back before the medics arrived? What if he told her to get out?
