122849 He eventually had to come up for her, breaking into the surface right next to her, shaking the water out of his hair and spashing it all around like a pup. He poked her. "You weren't worried, were you?" He laughed. "I'm safe and sound."

122849 Jen started the motorcycle and started driving just under the speed limit to get to the hospital. Bleeding too much was not a good idea, and given he could barely stand on his own, she figured it would be worse in this case. "What's your name?" She asked over the howl of the wind to keep him talking.

---

Noah laughed, chasing after her. He caught up but then dove straight into the water. Let her find him. He used to play that game with his sister, who was terribly afraid of water. He always ended up with sandcastle-making tools hitting his head.

122849 "Easy enough." She said cheerfully, and proceeded to drag him in that direction. Once they reached the bike, she let go of his hand. "Okay, you'll have to hang on tight, yes?"

--

Noah, not without fumbling a bit, took off his shirt. He could stand on his own, but accepted her help anyways, not putting much weight, but they'd both miscalculated, so he managed to catch her before she sent them both tumbling down on the sand. He chuckled nervously, casually letting go of her. "Phew, that was close."

122849 She pursed her lips together. One of her friends had lended her his motorcycle, which could more than easily accomodate two people. But, she wondered if it would be a good idea. "I've got a motorbike. Are you up for it? You wouldn't have to walk."

122849 He nodded with a big smile on his face. "Yep. You've got it." Noah was so happy for her progress that he kissed her cheek, without stopping for one second to think about it. Two bright spots of red appeared on his cheeks. "Um... So! The sea looks nice. Do you want to go splash around for a while?"

---

Inmediately, Jen grabbed his arm, the good one. "Careful there." She warned, turning him around in the opposite direction. "How did you get that glass in your arm? That's not very healthy." For a moment, she forgot where they were going, and stopped.

122849 "Nope." Jen shook her head, and became thoughtful. "But it looks like you will need stitches." She patted his head, actually feeling sorry for him. That thing must have hurt a lot. "It's just a block or two away. We can even walk."

122849 "Nicole, why else people would do stuff?" With a focused expression, he moves so he can properly guide her hand. Gently, he puts his hand over hers to help her strum the strings and play a G. "So, you just do this, again and again. The right sound will come out with enough practice, and this one is easy."

122849 She hadn't noticed that, but did as soon as he cursed. Huh, it wasn't a good idea to go around with stuff in your arm. How had he done that anyway? "Oh, sorry. I'll take care of that." Without warning, she pried it out. Like a band aid.

122849 Jen frowned. What was the matter with him? "Okay, wait here. Don't move." She got up, scrambling to get her messenger bag and got her bottle of water. Extreme situations demanded extreme solutions. She poured some on his face. "Do you feel better now?"

122849 "Yikes." She didn't think he'd drowned, because for one, he wasn't wet. "C'mon, get up." Jen knelt next to him to shake his arm repeatedly, not caring about what would happen if he'd only been sleeping or something. She'd rather be annoying than to later regret it.

122849 Deciding she'd spent way too much time there, Jen sat up, quinting around, and saw someone else who had decided to just lay there. Huh, although, the guy didn't seem like his intention had been to get a tan. She rolled out of the sand, shaking off what she could, and approached. "Hey, are you okay there?"

122849 Not so far ahead, a blond girl laid on the sand, and also, quite a lot of sand laid over her. Only her head an toes peeked out from it. Jen's eyes were closed. She only hoped no one would step on her. She was even wearing googles. Nothing was worst than having sand in your eyes.

122849 (Okay :) )

"Oh, wait a second." Noah dug into the pocket of his cargo pants and pulled out a colorful pick, handing it to her too. "This. With your free hand, all that's left is to strum. And try not to move your elbow too much, everything is in the wrist."

122849 He nodded with a smile. "Yep, it's a G. Your turn." He handed over his guitar to her, and very subtly helped her place her fingertips ion the right places. A tiny grin touched his lips. He was actually using his poor guitar as a tool to be as charming as he could, which had to be the oldest trick in the book!

122849 Once finished, honestly, Noah had no idea of what else to say. Even though he had been planning the whole lesson in his head, he couldn't help but ask himself, what is next? No, no, no, no. She was way too distracting. He cleared his throat. "Now," Noah placed his fingers in order to play G major. "This is a pretty basic chord."

122849 "Okay, first things first," he said in a teacher-like voice. "You must first know the guitar parts." Noah scooted a bit closer to her, and began pointing the parts, and telling her each name, so she could become familiar with them. "And then we have the sound hole..." He slid his hand under the strings above it to point at it, followed by the place where the strings ended. "which leads us to the bridge."

122849 "It'll be great. I do want to." He poked her cheek and then reached to set his guitar on his lap, thinking about what he should teach her first. She looked so excited about learning, he couldn't help but smile happily too. "Let's see..."

122849 Noah could tell she meant it, and it wasn't just for the sake of saying it. He felt better knowing that. "Perhaps, if you are nice." He crossed his arms with a grin. He'd still sing for her, but what was wrong in keeping the mystery alive? "You know what? I could give you your first guitat lesson right now."

122849 He smiled nudging her playfully. "Sure! The sole reason why I carry that guitar around all the time is to impress girls!" He joked and then nodded. "Yeah, I do sing. Sometimes I get together with other people, to share a song or two to attract more audience, I don't sing then. But most of the time I do."
