I just finished reading and I’m so happy to read everyone’s thoughts!

1. I don’t think Andrew’s perspective would have added much to the plot for me. We seem to have gotten enough information from both Millie and Nina about what he’s really like.

2. Absolutely! Millie being able to only talk about him and Enzo having so many warnings made me more suspicious of him than Nina. Nina felt like a distraction.

3. I think the most shocking part was how far Andrew went in torturing Nina and especially the part with Cecelia almost drowning. I expected him to have a dark side, but it was worse than I imagined. I did like the set up for Millie to be a hitman in the epilogue. That was an unexpected twist and made me intrigued to see how the series will continue.

4. Enzo, yes! He seems like such a good-hearted guy. I could see him helping even without having a sister who was domestically abused. The detective on the other hand, I don’t think so. It was obviously a murder and not knowing Andrew’s history would have just made him see Nina as the murderer. I also felt like the whole detective thing being the solution was very rushed and there were much better solutions to the ending.

5. No. Andrew’s mother is just as disgusting as Andrew. I felt bad that his mother never cared about his death and that he most likely suffered during his childhood. I don’t think that changed my feelings about him though.
