It's Black History Month and we're delighted that our featured author interview is with Embassie Susberry, author of CODE NAME BUTTERFLY! If you're not familiar with the story of Josephine Baker, check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josephi... She was truly a remarkable woman and Embassie brings her to life in this story. Our interview with her goes live on February 27, so if you have comments and questions for her let us know!
Join us in reading our Book of the Month, The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon! Our discussion is on February 13, and we have a special guest joining us - Sydney Young from #hfchitchat! We can't wait... won't you join us?
Linda wrote: "This story sounds fascinating. Can't imagine being on one sinking ship let alone a second."And a third shipwreck! Sometimes life is stranger than fiction! :) We're looking forward to diving in.
January's novel is a story of Violet Jessup, the Lusitania, the Titanic and a group of brave women who sign up to fight the Great War. This has all the makings of a great historical read.
