Hey there! I’m on page 98 of Atomic Habits only 22% there! I’m
really enjoying the mindset portion of this so far. I have seen the idea of compound interest of positive habits play out in my own life with my fitness journey and I find the content relatable. I also am really enjoying the good tips. For example, using pre-existing habits to stack new positive habits onto and make it easier for yourself to remember to do them. For instance, read 10 pages in your book with your morning coffee, or meditate. After you brush your teeth, do some stretching! I like this idea of stacking. That’s certainly how I frame things in my mind as well. Did anyone else here read Atomic Habits? Did you enjoy the whole book? If so, what were your favorite parts and if not, why? Is the middle and end good too?If you are not starting off with Atomic Habits this January, please share what you are reading? Let’s get a list going for one another.
Happy 2024!!! Cheers to a minimum of 24 books in 2024!!! Let’s go get it!!!!
Hey everyone! My name is Catherine! I’m a wife, mom, fitness enthusiast, cat mom, and a generally spunky soul. I love to read and find such solice in a book I am interested in, but I find at the end of the day I’m always so tired and I buy books and never finish them. This year that’s not going to happen. Small habits build and reading is a foundational habit that can change lives and keep our minds healthy!!! I’m so excited to share our reading goals, and book suggestions. I’m excited we get to hold one another accountable this upcoming year.So what’s everyone’s reading plans? 1-2 books in January? What are are you reading first?
I just started Atomic Habits by James Clear tonight, and my goal is to get two books read by the end of January.
Share what you are going to read in January and your goals below. Feel free to introduce yourself if you’d like!
