Have you ever read a book that you thought would be about one thing and then ended up not being what you thought it would be? Well if you want a really mind bending page turner you should read Sourdough by Robin Sloan. I am still thinking about how bizarre this book is and it's been almost four years since I last read it. Sourdough starter never had so much depth to it till I read this book.
Anyone have their reading goals for the year?I know that I'm not going for how many books I read but how diverse my reading is this year. My goal is to read outside my comfort zone, hit up some poetry, memoirs, biography about a person I've never heard of before, books by BIPOC authors, and discover some new indie authors.
What's everyone else doing with their reading goal?
