Hello, I'm Dr. Scott Elliot, a technologist and science fiction writer living in San Francisco. I write hard science fiction novels - that is, exciting fiction stories based on possible (and probable) technological advances. For example, I wrote a book called "A Life Sentience - the Singularity" about a digital/quantum computer that suddenly became conscious, and how that affected society over the next hundred years as the entity far outstripped humans in speed and depth of learning.
