1239093 Would anyone be willing to share their current progress on the Trumpet Reading Challenge from their current reads for 2024? Basically what books they have read for which theme and a short sentence on the work itself.
I was hoping to consolidate a couple peoples current progress and share with others for next month. Maybe your current reads would help to inspire someone else to engage with something they would not have otherwise heard of or considered.

1239093 I did not expect finding a book with a fruit of the Spirit in the Title to be difficult. However, after scouring our book shelves and doing some online searches I am a bit stuck this month. Are there any recommendations?

Because I have yet to find a book for this “challenge” I decided to do a bit of a wildcard search for different fruits on Christianbook. That has been interesting, but the search did locate The Kindness of God, Beholding His Goodness in a Cruel World by Nate Pickowicz. Two fruits in one Title!

1239093 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. The law is not against such things. Gal 5:22-23 CSB
1239093 This was the recommended “challenge” for April. I am curious to hear what books were picked up by others for the month, and if anyone else happened to pick up A Body of Divinity by Thomas Watson?

There is still a week left in the month but I am certain I will not finish this book in this month. In fact, I am intentionally not trying to finish the book so that I may read it with more intention and focus. Perhaps it would make for a better small group study than just a reading challenge.

But to be completely honest, I did not read this one yet. This is what I bookmarked though so does that count?
