Im partaking in a challenge with a friend to only read queer books (or mostly queer) this month so I ended up choosing new to me authors
so far Ive read and finished
Brighter than Scale, Swifter than Flame

The Fake Dating Game
about to start The Jasmine Throne

I love rereading, I was going to wait with reading the Terry Pratchett City Watch until my birthday month as I usually only do rereads in august but I might just start them in June, there are like 8 books if I remember correctly

I will be reading Eragon, unsure how much I get read this week weird week with surgery on the friday and before that several doctors appointments but that also mean waiting around time to read

My reading slow down real fast this week.
between work, a baking project for a luncheon (that took three days with shopping, planing, baking and decorating) it left little time to read.
I have now finished book 3 in The Lady Julia Grey series and is onto the novella Midsummer Night hopefully going to read between my shifts at work this weekend.

So far so good
finished book 2 of the Lady Julia Gray series Silent in the Sanctuary now onto the third book Silent on the Moor We love a snarky heroine and a grump

I would really like to read Deanna Raybourn Lady Julia Grey series but they are chonky books so Im on book 1 we will see what I will manage Silent in the Grave

I have started and finished 2 Nosey Parker books
think i will have finished the other three I got left in the series if I keep going at this speed

I'm picking audiobook but I will be reading a few chapters of the audiobook so will cheat just a little bit
and of course when I read to the husband before bed.
think i will try to get through all the nosey parker books just completely hooked at this point have read 2.5 of them in 2 days

I got a few I want to finish
first off I have started You're the Problem, It's You like two months ago and forgotten to continue
I have also read two chapters of Puck and Prejudice and got distracted with other things
Im finishing off the discworld series with the last book The Shepherd's Crown bittersweet.

In my head I was also thinking to reread The Darkness Outside Us and onto the sequel The Brightness Between Us but I have to be real no way on a work weekend

I love the rereads I reread so much so I love an excuse
I need the Continue a series or binge a series
anthologies! so i might finally finish some of the ones I just kept around.

I've started and finished An Education in Malice which gave this scaredy cat the heebiejeebies
Im also 224 pages into Ember and the Ice Dragons
I also started Life as a Unicorn: A Journey from Shame to Pride and Everything in Between only about 20 pages in.

The only stand alone I got from the library

and that is as far as I have planned..
I would like to get to Mean Little Deaf Queer: A Memoir as a friend sent me the ebook but im kinda bad at following plans lately

I got two ideas for books
one is Lawn Boy
and I want to read the manga version of Fangirl, they havent been banned as far as I can see but the original fangirl did

this week will be a busy one but I was thinking of doing a few classics and translated works I rarely read translated work

I finished Don't Want You Like a Best Friend which was just as cute as the cover made it out to be
I have gotten a good chunk into The Perfect Guy Doesn't Exist and the cover is cuter than the story to me.. but it could be that Im just not into YA atm
reading Can't Spell Treason Without Tea which is cute as the cover and the cozy fantasy it is but a bit slow
I got distracted by The New Guy cause fictional hockey

I'm not gonna be too ambitious this round
