the way i would actually be so angry at every single one of them. but i'm so so proud of you yusra, and you're doing the right thing <3 in'sha'allah they become more informed on this topic and get educated as they should.

i'm going to try and keep this short, i'm in the leadership club at my skl, so we had a meeting, and we have this newsletter where we have an area/place to talk abt ''world issues''. this was in late december, and i was like ''ok, i'm going to propose creating an article about what's going on in gaza'' and i open my mic and say it, and then some white guy in my class goes ''you want to make an article about hamas terrorists?!'' istg, i was so mad, and it was one of those days where you're so damn mad at the world and everything. i genuinely wanted to open the mic and scream at him with all my might and power 🥰🥰

niyya, ml, i just want to say that i'm so, so proud of you. it's not easy at all to talk with people who think what's going on is okay, and i know how nerve-wracking it can be to see people just disregard your words. it's not the best feeling at all. just remember that Allah/God is looking at all of this, and He will grant you so much reward for all the hate you're getting. i hope you're feeling better right now, and i'm praying for you always, always 🥹

This is a website I used personally to get more educated! It includes YouTube links for documentaries about Gaza, the Nakba, etc. It also has books you can read or add to your TBR list, which are very informative. Lastly, it offers a full course for anyone interested in learning about the history of the issue (i.e., Israel's colonization of Palestine, the Nakba, settler violence, Zionism, and how it began).

this is what i use, just type in the brand, and it'll give you the answer! it also includes alternatives to those israel-supporting brands, and gives you others which are neutral or support palestine so you can purchase from them.
