I just made it under the wire. finished my final Big Book of Summer 2024. and it was so good! By Any Other Name by Jodi Picoult. Read it!

FINALLY finished Lonesome Dove! what a great book! 858 pages of enjoyment.

I just finished Big Book Summer Challenge #3. The God of the Woods by Liz Moore. 486 pages. Yeah me!!!

I just finished Big Book Summer Challenge 2024 book #2. A Summer Affair by Elin Hilderbrand. 403 pages. A good book to take on planes and trains while on vacation. Now, back to Lonesome Dove.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this book. However l will have to put it aside for two weeks as I head out on vacation to the UK. The book is just to big to carry around from airport to train and multiple hotels. I'm taking notes and this thread will help me keep the storyline in my head until I return to it :)

The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory. 433 pages. I decided on this book in anticipation of my upcoming trip to Scotland. Mary Queen of Scots was a tragic figure in Tudor history. This was a fascinating story, as are all the Tudor books this author writes. The Other Boleyn Girl is a favorite!
