I finished a Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. It was a joy to read, because the language was so well crafted and rich. I would highly recommend this title and look forward to his other works.
Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, 476 pages. I went out of my comfort zone to try something from the Sci-fi genera, and I'm glad I did. This was a very enjoyable read for me. The fast paced writing style and humorous main character kept me interested. My son (14 yrs) grabbed it up after I was done, and is enjoying it as well! 4 stars
I've got three 'big books' going currently-Project Hail Mary (Andy Weir)- I'm on page 362 currently. Science fiction is not a genera I usually read, but I am wholly enjoying this book. I can barely pull myself away from the story.
A Gentleman in Moscow (Amor Towles)- currently on page 128. I'm taking my time on this one, reading it a chapter at a time. I'm enjoying the beautiful writing style.
The Great Alone (Kristin Hannah)- Just starting
I finished 'Firefly Lane', by Kristin Hannah (479 pg). I had trouble putting it down. I followed it up by reading the sequel, 'Fly Away', which is a slightly shorter book (400 pg). I flew through both books over the course of a long weekend. The second book addressed some difficult topics, but I enjoyed seeing the full story through. 3.5 stars
