I think this was a fantastic discussion, i got a lot out of it. let's get started on the other topic...

that's an interesting analogy. it's an image that really brings it all into perspective.

i didn't think the camps symbolized anything since it was all based on a true story, but i think it's an interesting topic in a literary sense.

looks like wiesel intended the concentration camps to stand for the general hurdle that everyone in life faces regarding faith. people easily lose faith when something bad happens, but, the only way to bring the dark night to an end is to maintain faith.

I'm behind, I know. But I'm going to finish Night soon. For now, can you go to the library and try to get the first Lord of the Rings book?
