1. My Favorite PartsI liked the parts where Bear trained for the Special Forces and when he went on wild adventures. They were exciting and showed how tough he really is.
2. The Ending
The ending was some big inspiration. Bear Grylls talks about how all his struggles helped him grow, and he encourages readers to never give up on their dreams.
3. What I Like
I liked how honest Bear was. He shared both his successes, and the shape of his body(you will know what I mean if you as you read through the book), which made the story feel real. The book was also easy to read and interesting.
4. How Good Is It?
It’s a great book, fun, exciting, and full of good life lessons. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5.
5. Would I Recommend It?
Yes! I’d hugely recommend this masterpiece to anyone who likes adventure or wants a story that motivates them to keep going.
1. My Favorite PartsI loved how bob and James was always there for each other no matter the circumstances and James do not just as see bob as a pet but as a true friend. The part where a lady randomly walked up to him in and accused him for animal abuse.(find out what happened in the book!)
2. Ending
The ending was hopeful and uplifting. It shows James making progress in his life and finding stability, all with Bob by his side as a companion. It felt like a satisfying conclusion while also hinting that their journey would continue.
3. What I Like
I really liked James’s honesty about his struggles with addiction, homelessness, and trying to find his place in the world. His free expressions of face’s made the story feel real and relatable. It’s inspiring to see how he keeps fighting to improve his life, motivated by his love for Bob.
4. How Good Is It?
It’s a heartfelt, well written story that’s both inspiring and uplifting. The writing is simple and genuine, making it easy to connect with James’s journey. It doesn’t feel overly dramatic, which makes the emotions more authentic.
5. Would I Recommend It?
For sure. This book is top notch, If you enjoyed A Street Cat Named Bob, you’ll love this continuation. It’s a beautiful, feel-good story about how friendship even with a cat can change a life. It’s perfect for animal lovers and anyone who enjoys real life stories of hope and second chances.
The start:The start of the book just got me invested immediately, it started as like a fight argument in school, it all started when his bullies had called his —- - —- —- and then a fight had broke out, and leaving them injured(half true) then after he just dipped and ran straight home.
My Favorite Parts:
So one of the things I really liked about The Recruit was seeing James start his training at CHERUB, the secret spy school. It’s not just about cool gadgets or big action scenes it’s about watching James deal with some pretty real challenges. He’s thrown into a world of danger and has to learn how to handle it all. I loved seeing him grow from just a regular kid to someone who starts to figure things out and get stronger. It wasn’t all just action it was the way he changed and learned from his experiences that made it so interesting.
Ending:
The ending really got me stuck with it. Without giving any spoilers away, I’ll just say that it leaves you feeling satisfied, but also wanting to know what happens next. It wraps things up well enough, but there are definitely some things that are still hanging, and it makes you excited to jump into the next book. A few twists at the end definitely keep you on your toes.
What I Like:
What I love about this book is that how it mixes the action with the characters growth. James isn’t perfect he also makes huge mistakes, struggles with stuff and he doesn’t always know what he’s doing. The other characters is good too, the way they interact with James adds more to the story. It’s not just about ### (not curse) stuff it’s about friendship, trust, and figuring out who you are.
How Good Is It:
Overall, The Recruit is a really fun read. It is fast paced, packed with suspense, but also has heart. The action is exciting, The writing is smooth and easy to follow, which makes it a breeze to get through. If you like spy stories that mix in some real life stuff and don’t mind a lot of action, this book is definitely worth checking out. It’s a great start to what looks like a really exciting series.
