Vaccines don't just protect yourself but protect others. Some can't get a vaccine so having a high rate of vaccination helps. Prevention is better than a cure. It also reduces the severity of the illness. A way to get more people to vaccinate is through education.

Absolutely no capital punishment. It doesn't belong in a democratic society. Does it make us better than the perpetrator? When you look through history even Marxists like Eugene V. Debs, Rosa Luxemburg, and others were some of the biggest opponents of capital punishment. It has created martyrs throughout history.

Absolutely same-sex couples should be allowed to raise kids. It doesn't matter as we all are humans. Any loving couple should be able to adopt as along they are not abusive towards them. If a child was in need I don't care what sexual orientation the parents are; it is better for a child to have a family rather than none.

He is worst than a felon. There are felons that are decent who want to be part of society. He would be on the bottom of the prison hierarchy with rapists, abusers, child murderers, etc.

We need to get away from the Democrats and the Republicans for good. They are both part of the White Supremacist and Capitalist system which are keeping us in these endless wars . I think of what Malcolm X and what he said of them along with Eugene Debs. A Proletarian Party is needed.

In this country at 16 you can legally drive with a license but can't vote. What makes voting more dangerous than driving. Vehicular crash fatalities are the highest in teens, the other is fatalities from guns. They should have more of a say in our system since everything is so politicized these days. While raising the driving age isn't the most popular idea. A concession we can make is lowering the voting age.

Socialism has been conflated with Stalinism but they are not the same thing. Socialists like Mother Jones, Eugene Debs, and others in this country fought for 8 hour work days. Martin Luther King Jr was both a Christian and a socialist so was Eugene Debs. Socialism is more scientific than capitalism if you look closer through Albert Einstein's essay Why Socialism. We work too much and need to work less in order to be happier. Books that I recommend are Eugene Debs Speaks and Mother Jones speaks. Both are published by Pathfinder press which is dedicated to Working class history. Another reason to go to Socialism is for sustainability.

Things that need to stop being a debate, raising the driving age, and sensible gun rights

We are too dependent on the electronics. I am seeing first hand with us not able to have a conversation. The good uses of it is you can do audiobooks/podcasts like when you are working and doing activities like knitting. It helps me to learn something while I shelve books at the library.

Yes it should be required as it is good for both physical and mental health. There are too many screens at home and schools.
