Hello, what are you guys planning on reading this summer?

We're going to read this book in June!

I have watched them too and loved the first one.

I think he is some kind of teacher? But I am not sure. Also, I am pretty certain that they had a relationship, the kind of relationship a student shouldn't have with their teacher.
So far, the story has made me ask so many questions. How did someone's head explode like that? Why are random men coming to their places and getting killed? I find some of the things in the book illogical, but hopefully it will clear up soon!

loooool what. I thought that happened? Did it not? When they were in someone's attic, I think?

I have no idea where it's going. Also, the guy who came out running with an axe in his back? And one of the bunnies stabbing him with the ax to kill him? what? Like, have I misunderstood everything???

So today is the first discussion!!
I had a hard time reading the first few chapters, as they didn't capture my interest. However, when Samantha finally joined the "bunnies," the chapters flew by, and I started to enjoy it more. But when I got to the point where they were gathered in someone's living room and Rob Valenica entered, it got weird, like really weird. That was the first point where the story took a turn and got strange. I don't think I understood what the f'ck was happening?
What did you think about that scene?

Yeah I just need to wait for the order I placed that takes for eveeeer to come :/ I think I bought Wuthering Heights!

Yeah, I have spotted the Dune book with its amazing cover in the bookstore and would like to read it too! Have you seen the movie? :)

Oooo, I haven't thought about how the book will play out. In my mind, I figured the next book would occur right after where we left the first book, but now I am questioning it!

Yeah, I loved and appreciated the slow burn as I think it contributed a lot to their tension later on. I hope she will keep the same hostility?? (I don't know if this is the correct word) between them in the next book, and that she doesn't rush their relationship.
Also what happened with Locke and Taryn??? I got so angry when I read those pages.

Hi! This is the last time to discuss The Cruel Prince, so hopefully y'all have read the whole book by now!!
I loved the book and will continue to read the series. I love how Jude is a strong, independent woman. She betrayed her father, which I think is deserved (I don't like Madoc), and even lured Cardan to the throne!!! She's not only strong and independent, she is also smart!! What do you guys think about her little plan, and do you think Madoc deserved the betrayal by her daughter?

We're going to read
Bunny by Mona Awad!

Yeah, I think Sophie was on the coronation, but I don't know if she will be part of the story, though it would have been quite unnecessary to have written about her at all, since she didn't contribute to the actual story, if I remember it correctly.

Yeah, I think that, but I am not entirely sure. I think he must have known that she couldn't be made to do things after the last time he tried. Didn't she mention the curse after too? Like it was unsettling, as if she was scared it would have made an impact.

Wow, I didn't think like that at all about Madoc, but I agree! Maybe he is the real villain in this story?
What did you think about when she slayed Valerian and the curse she got?

What was that ending of book one???? WTF? I could never have seen that coming. And Taryn and Locke???? Hello. Why were they standing together? After what Locke asked Jude, I find their relationship very suspicious.

Ahh, okay, thanks for the tip! I will try it out!

I have never listened to an audiobook from a real book, so I am curious, is the experience different? Do you prefer that or reading?
:)
