Paid Beta Readers - How to Find the Right One.

I'm a beta reader for Science Fiction & Fantasy, but I may or may not be the right beta reader for your story. You should check me out (start w/ my GR profile) - AND check out other beta readers. But what should you look for? Here's a short list:

1. Experience & Depth of Knowledge in your genre (& sub-genres/crossover elements). Check their GR profiles & bookshelves & ask questions about books they have read.

2. Testimonials. Make sure they have them. If they have any on GR you can verify them through the author's profile link.

3. Website. If they are serious about what they do, they will have a website, Fiverr gig, etc. w/ detailed information about their beta reading services.

4. Ease of Communication. Do they respond fully to your questions in a timely manner?

5. Scheduling, Services & Fees. Each beta reader is unique and you will need to compare their availability, range of services & rates to your own needs.

Don't wait until the last minute. The beta you want may not be immediately available.
