Aaron’s comments from the Dragonlance group.

The Bronze Canticles certainly seem influenced by the Death Gate Cycle. That would probably be at the top of my "to-read" list, then either Rose of the Prophet or Darksword.

Death Gate Cycle for me. Of course, I haven't read the Darksword or Prophet books...nor have I read the Bronze Canticles or all of the Dragonvarld series. Haven't read Star of the Guardians...and only one of the Mag Force 7 novels. Hm. I guess I really haven't read all that much.

So, maybe what this should be is what Non-DL series would you recommend that I start reading as soon as possible?

I'm actually reading the graphic novel adaptation of Dragons of Winter Night. It's nice to see the book in a different format, but it really doesn't live up to the actual novel. I'm also not a huge fan of the art, but there are the ocassional panels that are pretty cool.

Dragons of Autumn Twilight...probably in 7th or 8th grade (mid-1990's). Moved on to the rest of the Chronicles and any other DL books that my library had.
