The title of this book is inspired by kintsugi, or the art of beautiful repair. This process repairs broken things with gold resin. The end result is a completely unique piece with a history that is even more valuable than before. In fact, the more broken it was, the more beautiful it becomes.

I love this, especially as it applies to people. We aren't disposable either! Has anyone ever made you feel whole and beautiful, even though you knew they could see your weaknesses and cracks?
