Hey lovely, I just wanted to apologise for not being very active in the group lately. My back pain has made things difficult and I’ve been going through a bit of a low period.
It’s also led me into a reading slump and a bit of a depressive spell that I’m slowly trying to work my way out of. You’d think with all the time sitting still I’d be reading more, but right now it’s been hard to focus.
I just thought it was important to let you know where I’m at. 💛

ive just started reading... not been able to concentrate last few days as had operation for back yesterday snd couldn't shut my brain off 🤣

on chapter 3 right now. I like Kell so far, the different London kinda confused me for a second but got there in the end 🤣

who doesn't love dystopia as a genre! we have just finished a reading of the hunger games trilogy! such a good book!

we currently have a book.of the month going on 'A darker shade od magic' if you would like to read along and join in on theories and such :)

on to being utterly destroyed by the movies :p

the deaths! wasnt prims so quick! I had to go back and re-read it as didn't sink in the first time. was just sat there!
Finicky, giving his life for Katniss was just such a killer as well, but he knew they both wouldn't make it out.

when you watch the movie, when they enter the capitol, it is all done do well!
what do you think of the game her and peeta play... real or not? its when she reminds him of his favourite colour! just...

I do like that theory, its why Cinna worked with the rebellion and everything.

I am not going to say anything about anything, but it gets good... and then like, re-reading final chapters over again so actually understand what happens as it goes really quick. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Okay, so a bit behind as kids have been a nightmare last 2 days and haven't been able to get in much reading... BUT I cried! I cried when Cinna died and although I knew it was going to happen, it still hit me hard! I can only picture Jennifer Lawrence in my mind when you see it in the movie, the absolute distress... Kills me!
One theory online is: Cinna is Beete's son. He got sent to the capital when he was a baby to make sure Snow never found out about him (now you know everyone was in on getting them peeta and katniss out) and had him used against beete.

Katniss and Haymitch, honestly... one u read the mocking Jay, you need to read his story next... it explains sooo much! Although they class being they are too similar! both want the same thing, although katniss wants it to protect Prim.

I need to know your thoughts on what you think of the characters that appear in the third book? (hide spoiler)]

So, i havent been able to reach catching fire today, due to finishing another book which I was trying to do half day reading one and then the other... and it kinda got away from me... BUT catching fire is now priority!

I shall continue tomorrow.

I will say, this is obviously a re-read for me and you will understand more once you have read Sunrise on the reaping as is Haymitch's story and you get to see why he is the way he is, and his wit, and cunning behaviour :) Made me cry so much!
