I think Veronica knows where they are. I am not sure she could live with wondering if they were ok. On the other hand, if she doesn't know she can't give anything away.

I am still undecided on how I feel about the call to Sweet Pea. It certainly wasn't the way Veronica would have wanted things to go but she took the number I think because she was loosing faith in justice in Neptune being an option.
Leigh - I have lived in the same town my whole life and didn't know about curling until this year. Our whole family got the big this year. My husband and youngest son just went from last place team to being in the finals next week!
I did feel for awhile that is was too easy to find Bellamy but I think the real conflict is how hard it is to get the police to care/get involved
Just got off the ice at curling - lost by a landslide. BUT that means I can join Bookclub LOL I can see why Weevil made the choice he did and I can't say I would have done diferently myself and as the story goes I agree that if The case would have gone through it would have seriously cut back on the interesting storyline to write about for future books/movies. Also seeing Weevil as a parent makes me have hope Veronica might have a kid one day
Tunnel vision is the perfect way to explain Veronica. Glad I was able to join in the discussion again but need to leave soon. Family is ready to leave the curling club and head home :)
I think it was more wishful thinking. She wanted to think the military was a fad but I think deep down she always knew he was serious. I, though, had doubts
I did really wish she had gone with him - felt reminiscent of how she refused to head back to meet Piz's parents. She always puts the case first but something like a funeral has to start coming first at some point or you loose your sense of self.
I also enjoyed seeing Veronica experience the worry she has put so many people close to her through and she will continue to do so. It makes sense that she can't stand back and just watch bad things happen and now neither can Logan. It is nice to see that side of him become the norm
