134394 Abigail Adams Academy Book Discussion Group

Do you ever wish you could discuss a great book you are reading with someone else who’s read it too? Abigail Adams Academy is a place to have live discussions about classic books with others trying to build homes that practice leadership education principles. Great live discussion and interaction are sure to be enjoyed by everyone in the group. Check out Abigail Adams Academy today and take advantage of early bird pricing. It is too good to miss out on!

Scholar Moms: Here we dig a deeper into practicing the methods of leadership education. We meet twice a month. First we'll read a great classic, then you will write (journal and papers) about it, and finally, we'll discuss it in our live Internet classroom. Here you continue to hone your skills in practicing the "You, not Them" principle and deepen your study of the classics.

Everything is online, so you can participate from the comfort of your own home. We record our sessions, so when life interrupts, you don't miss out.

Early Bird Pricing is available until September 13th.

134394 I agree...life is not a race or so I keep telling myself. I worry that if I did not have a group to discuss the books with that I would not get very much out of the books and they would not change me. If the books don't change me in some way that why am I reading them?

I have read the TJEd book several times but it did not really change me until I started talking about it and discussing it with others. Then I started really taking time to make it part of who I am and practice some of the skills.

134394 I really like reading this book in sections and discussing it. I find that if I just read the book through that I miss thinking about things or trying to make it fit my world specifically.
