There are so many cool graphic novel hybrids in the easy reader category now. Toon Books continues to delight (I saw 3x4 won a best of — Kirkus?). Baby Monkey Private Eye is another game changer.

The new Mo Willems series looks good. I haven’t read I LOST MY TOOTH yet, but it’s on order.

Last year didn’t work out. I’ve been trying to reach both moderators. Can we please try anyway this year? Time is growing short for 2019.
