Doug’s comments from the A Farewell to Mars group.

Obviously this book is resonating with many of you. What experiences have you had talking to other Christians about Jesus being a "preacher of peace"? How have you responded?

Just a quick apology... I've been tied down to a project deadline, so I will be checking in with the group, but the next few days I'll be in and out.

1. Amish Country, PA (grew up in Canaan Valley, WV)
2. I created the group :-D
3. Attend a stereotypical evangelical church, but on all kinds of online quizzes I show up as Anglican/Wesleyan in leanings... probably a liberal anabaptist
4. Hearing what others have to say!

To give everybody time to join the group and begin reading the book, let's begin our official discussions on Saturday, June 7. I would hope by then folks would be able to read the first chapter.
