137329 Glad everyone's taking part! I'm reading Dietland by Sarai Walker. Not sure what I think so far but I'm aiming to finish the whole thing today!

137329 The next round is starting at midnight in your time zone on Saturday 3rd September and ending midnight at the end of 9th September!

Let me know if you're taking part!

Considering just putting it on hold, and pick up the next book instead...."

Reading is something you should enjoy so I would say to not waste your time on books you're not enjoying =)

137329 Talk about the books you've read so far in the readathon here!
137329 Cherrie wrote: "Whats are the dates for this readathon?
I'll definitely be joining in as I love talking about under hyped books on Booktube :)"

It's 27th February to 4th March!
137329 What will you be reading?

I've picked out a few books; The Actuator: Fractured Earth, Time Ships and Flatland. These are all books that I've never heard anyone talk about but I also have others on my shelf that I may swap in instead as I realised all of my choices are science-fiction!

I haven't officially announced it yet but is most likely going to be the last week of February. I'll be sending a message around soon!

Glad you're taking part! How are you enjoying your reads?

137329 How's everyone getting on with their reads?

I've nearly finished The Ophiuchi Hotline by John Varley by John Varley and it's really good so far!

Good luck with Lonesome Dove! It's one that I may tackle eventually. The Brief History of Seven Killings sounds really good though I'm a little wary of the Man Booker books now after The Chimes...

Good luck with whatever you choose! Readathon's usually help me if I'm in a reading slump =)

137329 The #UnderHypedReads readathon is back and I really looking forward to it!

This runs from 21st to 27th of September and the idea is the same as the last times; read books that you could deem underhyped!

137329 Hi! I've been so bad at this readathon because of university and work commitments this week but I still had loads of fun!

I managed to finish two from my TBR (though I did read one the day before the readathon started...)

How did everyone else get on?

137329 I've just finished Cowgirl by G. Gemin and I really enjoyed it actually. It had great messages for children and I loved the themes discussed.
Jan 20, 2015 02:31PM

137329 I started Cowgirl by G. Gemin and it's okay so far. The colloquial speech is a little off putting at times but it's a quick read.

137329 How're you getting on with your TBR/chosen books so far? =)

I read Girl With a White Dog by Anne Booth on Sunday in one sitting before the readathon started because I've got loads of university reading to do but I'm hoping to get to at least one more from my TBR once I've finished Jane Eyre for university (definitely not an underhyped book!)

Last time we went with under 10,000 ratings but it's up to you and what you have available to you on your shelves. Personally all of mine are under 1000 ratings =)
