I've started documenting my own process of how I go about creating a CYOA book at my author blog - http://author.jonray.net/writers-towe...
The link leads to the submission page .https://www.cyoa.com/pages/manuscript...
Also of interest on the page is this one which breaks down the mechanics of a CYOA story.

If you're a Reddit user, I've started up a new Fantasy genre CYOA subreddit and looking for new people to subscribe. https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyCYOA/
I'm looking for a tutorial or someone to describe to me how you actually write out a CYOA adventure? I know about choice trees or nodes, but before you add a number to the block, how do you write it all out? What steps do you take into order to put it all together?
I'm started writing my first in a series of fantasy CYOA books. To share in the process that goes through creating one of these, I've started posting updates in my GR blog if anyone else is interested in following along, just give me a follow. Author: Jon Ray

The premise of my series is all adventures take place in my fantasy world called Argobathe. There are multiple mainlands and races, but the reader will always be human. As your first choice in the book you must decide to read as a male or female, also each book will focus on the journey of a particular character class. In this first book it will be The Warrior. I've not seen another CYOA using gender like this, but it should be interesting as the characters in the story will sometimes respond to you differently and offer didn't choices. I plan to initially write 8 books, and then continue with additional books into each of the character classes to progress the stories. I'll give the link a check.. thanks.
The compassraiders.com site is no longer up, otherwise I would of checked it out. I did however check out Ed's stuff and enjoyed the sample you offer on your page. I'm just in the prep stages of writing my first CYOA book and series, which will be based in a world of my own creation that I've spent awhile worldbuilding on. Not much activity here, but nice to see and hear of other CYOA genre writers.
