13756 I decided to add a new chapter cuz Chapter 2 was getting too big. Plus I wrote another 500 words. I'm currently writing my 500 words for today.

13756 Junto Press will be changing this semester. Junto Press will no longer be competition based due to funding for prizes. We will be using GoodReads.com as our home site for our writing. So sign up with goodreads.com and join the group there.

Good Reads is a great site for writers and readers alike. They have a great shelving system and a great writing system in place to be able to share your book lists, writing, and a great way to meet other readers and writers with the same interests.

Once you sign up you will have a writing center within your account that you can use to write books with chapters for whatever you're writing at the moment. The group will work like a discussion in a forum. You will create a topic and post links to your writing within your topics.

Our goal is to write everyday. Choose a word limit; 200, 300, 500, 1000, whatever and stick to it everyday. Write about whatever you want. Yes, there will be prompts up also for those who might want some inspiration or guidance but there will no longer be a competition.

I also plan on starting a book club where we will take book suggestions and start reading and sharing our thoughts on the books we read.

Events! Yes, I plan on actually having some events this semester. The first one will be next week during the Club Fair. We will be writing a story in sequence. I will start the first part of the story then whoever wants to will continue the story and leave it up to the next person to continue the story after them. My hopes are that the story will be unique and wonderful. I will then see if we can get it displayed somewhere around campus so those that want to read the full story can.

If you have any suggestions for any events, fund raising, trips, book club reads, anything post here, the goodreads group, or email me.

Hey, let's have fun!
