Description
◇ Johann is a man with great intelligence and a vast knowledge of the world's wonders, being a man who studies essentially every available field possible. Unfortunately, he is bored easily and will do anything to escape his boredom, and I do mean anything . He will cut open innocent people and decorate their house with their organs, he will destroy cities and watch them burn because it amuses him. He's kind to the other monsters and killers though, he will listen to anyone's problem when they come to him and he will give whatever advice he can. He's obsessed with his "work", which is really just his research and quest for more knowledge, and will not tolerate anything he believes to be a distraction. In short, he's a big stick in the mud who views most normal humans as experimental material unless they depict some kind of mutation, or happen to be not fully human of which case they are promoted

History
◇ Johann was born in Knittlingen, Germany to a whore and some unknown man. He was raised in a church with the other orphans and was a very curious child. He was always seen reading or studying or getting into something, the priests didn't like him much because the boy was never faithful to the Catholic faith.
In his mid teens, something caught the boy's attention, Alchemy. It absolutely fascinated him, he worked to buy his own lodging where he could work in peace. He spent all of his time studying, whether he was reading others notes or was fiddling with his materials to find new reactions.
Eventually, he was found out and tried by the church under the charge of witchcraft. While sitting in his cell, waiting for death, a demon came to him. Her name was Knochenfresserin, she was a demon known as a bone eater. When the knights and a priest came for Johann, they found his cell empty without a trace. No one really knows what happened after that and anyone who asks is always answered by "It's not important, besides, it isn't really your concern now is it?".
What is known is that eventually his connection to the demon led to his interest in black magic. After years of research in black magic; he hit a dead end and, in a desperate attempt for his research to never stop, sold his soul in a contract with Mephistopheles- or Mephisto. The conditions being, for the demon:
1. To serve Faust until the day the man died
2. To provide Faust with any information he wanted
3. To never lie to him.
Johann's conditions were that he:
1. Renounce his Catholic faith
2. Sign the pact with his own blood
3. He had to give up his body and soul to Satan after twenty-four years.

Hallelujah is a very kind person that always speaks in a sweet tone, as if talking to a friend or lover, and doing almost anything she's asked to do. However, this sweetness isn't at all what it seems, Halle has an extremely violent temper. Not only that but she is delusional and extremely obsessive: Believing the shadow of a person she sees in a reoccurring dream of her's to be her soul mate and frantically kidnapping, holding for days or weeks, and killing men and women alike in attempt to find this person.

History
Hallelujah was an orphan that some men in suits picked off the streets to run experiments on. The result of years of torturous experiments and training was a shattered mentality, essentially creating killing machine in a human shell. After about six or seven years, the government released her on Nightvale as a "test run".
Unfortunately, despite her being in the same place, the government is unable to attain her again due to her killing all they send and mailing back their bodies with the same message.

History
Emily was a noble who was under heavy guard all her life because she was albino and back then, being albino was a connection to Satan, but her parents didn't want to kill their only daughter. So they kept her inside most of the time and she was only allowed outside if she had several soldiers with her. She hated it and suck out frequently.
When she was eighteen, her favorite spot was a hill that looked over village, it was where she could be alone and not judged but still be free from her overbearing parents. One day, a boy from her village with burn scars on a little over half of his body found her and Emily was surprised to find that he didn't care about her albinism. Before long the two became close.
Emily would go to that hill everyday to meet him, just to sit under a tree and talk to him or even just sit there in silence with him. She had fallen in love with him and he fell in love with her, but they never spoke of their love or acted on it. They both knew of their mutual love but both knew they weren't ready.
After a year, the boy joined the army and promised Emily he would marry her when he returned. From that day on she wore the simple silver ring that the peasant boy spent all his money on for her, she still wears it today. After waiting under that tree, month after month, just waiting for her love to return, she met his mother who asked her if she was the girl her boy was set on marrying.
The boy's mother took her to the hangman who was holding a ceremony for the boy. She saw his body laying on a bed of flowers and couldn't stop her tears. She lost her love and in her grief, decided to do what he was so set on doing.
"I want to rise up the ranks and be at the top! That way, when we get married, we will have everything we will ever need."
Emily cut her hair into a boys style and dressed in her father's old clothes. She ran away to join the army, hiding her gender well. Soon, she was viewed as the best of the best, going up the ranks at a relatively quick rate. However, no matter how many battles she fought, how wounded she got, she never died of age or illness. Emily never aged past nineteen and only changed her name and re-enrolled every decade or so to throw off any suspicion. She participated in the remainder of the Hundred Years war and then in every war after it.
After so many years fighting and morning the boy, it appears that she only has two loves now. The boy and war.

Lucas is a sadistic man who only knows cruelty and chaos, any humanity that had been left in him had died long ago. He hides this with the facade of a peaceful, laid back man who seems a tad melancholy.
Though do to his nature, any interest he takes in a person can be volatile. He will become obsessive, constantly demanding their attention and willing to do even the most heinous things to achieve it.

History
Lucas can't remember much of his past anymore, but there are a few things he does.
"I always thought that the world was dull, so I decided to focus on my... imagination. Though everyone called me foolish , said that believing in such fantasies was going to get me nowhere. Hmph, they didn't know what they were talking about. So I decided to find proof, something that would make them believe me."
"I was the apprentice of a blacksmith who was very strict with me. Everything seemed so dull still but this time it was very, uh, sad. Yeah, as if all the life had been sucked from the world. I figured there had to be a reason and I decided to be a hero, I went to find the cause of it."
Well, believe it or not, he was right and he did find something. Unfortunately, he doesn't remember this part.
He found it, a mass of nothing but pure darkness, an evil being that had pulled itself free from its prison. Went he found it, he tried to vanquish it but he was only eighteen and he wasn't exactly skilled with a sword either. The Darkness took him, body and soul, he became it's vessel. Eventually, he became The Darkness. Over the countless years, he forgot his life and humanity. Now there is is no Lucas, not really, it's only The Darkness.

History
Ivan was born in a small village surrounded by mist, it wasn't the only human village there and the lands around it was inhabited by mist demons. The humans and the demons had an agreement that the demons would protect the humans if the humans provided them with sacrifices and that night would be their time, any human who was out of their village at night disappeared. Originally, Ivan was human and the son of a respected man in the village. He had a younger sister named Alma, now deceased, who he was very close too.
Ivan lived a normal life until he turned sixteen, when the other children lost his sister's ball in the mist. Ivan agreed to go find it despite his sister's protests that the sun would be down in a few hours, he promised her he would come back before then. He then went in search of the ball, however, Ivan himself got lost and the sun set before he could return home. The mist grew thicker, so thick that he couldn't breathe and lost consciousness.
He awoke several months later, his brown hair having turned white and his tan skin pale, his eyes no longer green but red. All his life he believed those out at night were killed by the demons, but he now knew that they were turned into demons. He immediately tried to leave, to go home, to see Alma but the demons wouldn't let him. They said it was dangerous and one specif demon was assigned to keep him away from his village, he eventually grew to hate this girl and everything that reminded him of her.

After the war ended, Ivan left the human world, deciding to live out the rest of his life in Eoghan. Here, he made a new life away from everything that brought him pain and anger. Eventually, he was adopted by a king and inherited the thrown from him. He is currently ruling as a king, still plagued by the memories of his past.

Lix has psychosis and a Bi Polar disorder, both she takes medication for. On her meds, Lix is almost completely normal, though her senses do seem dull but that's because the voices are much more quiet when she's on her meds.
Off her meds, Lix becomes unpredictable, depending on who she's with. With some, her emotions change at the drop of a hat and she becomes rather wild. With others, she is calm and her mood swings are occasional. This actually depends on how comfortable she is around a person, the more comfortable she is, the less frequent her mood swings are.
Regardless of whether or not she's taken her meds, Lix has a short temper and is an aggressive person though she isn't mean unless she is provoked to be and carves odd markings into herself(though she isn't she why). She's very smart and understanding, just violent and easily agitated. There are few she genuinely enjoys being around, such as her friends and sister, and you should think yourself lucky if she likes you.

Lix's father died before she was born and her mother was, for lack of a better term, a whore. Lix hated staying at home do to her mother's "guests" so she would go with her sister, Franny, to one of her friends' house. On more than one occasion she had tried to run away but her sister always kept her there. When Lix got a little older, her mother started to beat her, this was the final straw. Her sister told the school about what was happening and CPS took the two away. Lix went though the system, being sent to different foster families until she turned eighteen. She's now attending collage to be a psychiatrist.
(Before my previous account was deleted) Lix met a girl named Jacinthe one day in class and took an odd liking to the girl. Later she met Eyeless Jack and fought with him, sorta like a mini duel, and came out of it with his name carved into her shoulders. Soon after, Jacinthe/Jack convinced Lix to do what she had been dying to do- Kill her mother. Though it clearly didn't help with the emotional scarring. Also, since meeting Jacinthe/Jack, Lix's madness seems to be steadily increasing.
Lix has heard voices whispering to her in an ancient language since she was very young, at this point, the voices have become a sixth sense to her and losing them would cause her more panic and alarm than losing any of her other senses. The voices are the Eldrich gods, guiding her since she was born.
