Liked most of it, but I hate Tom Sawyer so much, the moment that little annoying twerp showed up he killed most of my enjoyment of it
I was on a roll I guess? It is a very read and a very enjoyable one. There is a certain plot twist that people might find controversial. I guess rather how much you like the book or not kinda depends on how you feel about out the twist
So our Book of the Month for April is Everything Everything by Nicola YoonSo many of you voted for it, so I'll hope you have fun with the book
I will start reading as soon as possible
Lost City of Z sounds interesting and I really liked the Trailer.Going with two books since there are a lot of adaptations coming out
Everything, Everything and My Cousin Rachel
Well I do enjoy adventure literature but well written one. I don't think gender has anything to do with it. Though the treatment of the only female character in the Team drove me up a wall
Yeah me. I think it was okay but just not 'for me'. I didn't dislike it or anything but as a matter of personal taste I wouldn't re-read it or anything
Finished it and loved it. Great insights, tipps, personal stories and some really inspiring words. You also could make yet another Reading Challenge out of his recommendations lol
So far this is really an interesting read. I'm convinced that man is mad, but in the best possible way. Especially aspiring writers should have fun with it
Hello guys, I present to you our (non-ficition) Book of the Month:
Hope all of you who join in will have fun reading it :)
I will already start it today ^^
I will write a full review for this one. Its one of the most frustrating reads I had in a long time. There is a good book somewhere inside this mess, too bad it didn't get the chance to say 'hi'
I think the book is so full of potential but so far it falls flat. The characters are pretty one dimensional and its hard to connect to anyone.I'm also kinda confused what exactly this books is in terms of target audience. The writing style reminds me more of Middle Grade or Young Adult and yet sometimes it tries to be more adult? Like the author couldn't decide.
I don't have a problem with Peter being portrayed in a certain way. Sociopath Peter Pan is a pretty common interpretation of the character (OUAT is hardly the first one to do it) but here it is done in a kinda boring way.
