Terrence lives with the old hermit Trevisant, who can't remember the past. It's okay though, because he can see the future. One day he's walking in the woods and comes upon a knight named Gawain, who hopes to be knighted a knight of the Round Table. Terrence brings Gawain to Trevisant, who says that Terrence must go with Gawain. They encounter crazy lovers, ruthless kings, enchanters, enchantresses and along the way, Terrence must find out about his past. Let The Squires Tale sweep you away and carry you along in this wonderful Medieval-timed book.

Jinx is a book about a boy named Jinx who lives with his step-parents. One day his stepfather decides that they don't have enough food to feed him, so he brings him out into the forest. In the forest, there is "The Truce of the Path" which states that monsters may not attack anyone in the forest as long as they're on the path. Jinx's stepfather takes Jinx off of the path so that he can be eaten by a monster, or something like that. A wizard named Simon happens to be walking by, and when some trolls run by and take away Jinx's stepfather, Simon invites Jinx to live with him. Jinx is happy in Simon's house, but after venturing out into the woods, he begins to wonder if Simon is really a kind wizard who felt pity on Jinx, or did he have other magical plans for Jinx.I love this book because it really shows how friendships and trusting people are really important, especially in a magical world like this. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked Harry Potter and wants another book about crazy magic.
Wonderstruck is a very thought provoking book. It's about a kid named Ben and a kid named Rose who live in different time periods. Rose is deaf, and Ben becomes deaf because of a lightning bolt. Ben goes to New York looking for his father, meets Jamie, amid who takes him to a museum. They mess around in the museum, and then Ben goes to Kincaid books, where his father supposedly works. He meets Rose there, who is now an old lady and It turns out that his fathers dead and Rose is his grandmother. Woohooo, everyone's connected! Then Jamie comes and they all sit looking up at the stars. Very cute ending. This is a very brief review, I left out a lot, but it gives you a little sense of what the books about.
