140628 Maven stayed there a little longer, just thinking, maybe thinking too much about this. He'd said he'd help, and he would, but what was he really getting himself into? He stood up, and after saying good night to his parents, he went to his room, worked on something that might help him on the computer, and then collapsed on his bed.

The next morning, he was up earlier than ever to check on Ivory. He knocked on her door.

140628 "No, mom only comes here when it's cleaning time, which is not at night, so you should be fine for tonight." He awkwardly pats her shoulder. "Don't worry, okay? We'll find the way."
Mar 28, 2016 11:27AM

140628 He nodded slowly, not sure exactly of how he'd pull this off, but knowing he'd try. "Yeah, sure. You're already here." His fingers tapped against his knee anxiously. "But my parents will notice. I have an idea, but it'll have to wait until tomorrow."
Mar 28, 2016 11:07AM

140628 Maven started to see how any of his possible solutions wouldn't work, and why she was so scared. His shoulders slumped, and he sat down next to her, and stayed quiet for a while. "Well... I can... I can take care of you until we figure this out. "

140628 He had to be really, really crazy. His hand moved towards her wing, but froze before he could touch it. He was kind of afraid he'd hurt her. "Alright, we should..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "How do you even heal this? I'll help, I just... I don't know what to do."
Mar 23, 2016 06:53PM

140628 Maven heard her very clearly, but his mind was working at a mile per hour to try to make sense of what she was saying. He knew what she was saying, he just couldn't wrap his mind around it. "Let me see." He stepped close to see her wing, now slightly wary of her, even though angels were supposed to be good.

140628 Maven shook his head. "You're unbeliavable. No, I can't do that, I'm sorry." It was pretty obvious, but he didn't even want to consider it, he didn't want to think, it was just too... he just wouldn't believe it, she was right in that, but still... "I know what I'm seeing. And if you're going to stay-" he paused, realizing he'd raised his voice, and toned it down. "If you're going to stay in my house, I need to know."
Mar 22, 2016 09:06PM

140628 He started pacing around the room, rubbing his temples, stopping every few seconds to look at her, but yup, the wings were still there, muttering under his breath. Finally he stops, a frown deeply etched into his features. "Wings. Is this some kind of joke?"
Mar 22, 2016 08:40PM

140628 Maven of course first got dressed. Honestly, he just wanted to go fall face first on his bed, but for his own sake, he went to check on Ivory. His mind was somewhere else as he approached the door, already thinking about how the hell he would hide a girl from his parents, staying in their house. So he just opened the door without knocking first, and stops on his tracks. Why on earth did she put on those wings? It was ridiculous, but he genuinely thought they were some kind of costume of her sister's, maybe from a past Halloween party. He got closer to attempt to get them off, but his hands froze when he noticed they clearly came right from her back. Not a costume. He stumbled back, Sherlock prancing about around his legs.

(:O)

140628 "To take a shower, I'll be right back." He opened the door, and then a small gray cat crawled from under his bed and headed straight to him. "There she is." He crouched to briefly rub Sherlock's back. "Lock the door, okay?" He then stood and left to go take the quickest shower ever. There was a girl in his room. And either she had hit her head or something and didn't remember even the most basic things or... she truly was clueless?
Mar 22, 2016 01:25PM

140628 She sounded so hopeless he was beginning to believe she really had no idea. He wanted to help, but this was getting complicated. Maybe he'd be able to think better once he'd had a good shower.

"Alright, we'll figure this out later." He stood and quickly gathered some clothes of his to go to the bathroom. "Oh, and if something furry comes out of nowhere, that'd be Sherlock." He was about to leave, but before he did, he added, "It's a she, by the way. Just... don't touch her toys and you'll be fine."
Mar 22, 2016 10:30AM

140628 Maven grimaced. He could hardly kick her out while it was raining. He sighed, and nodded. "Yes, you can stay here. The lock on my sister's room doesn't work. But, listen, Ivory..." He started, with a very serious expression. "In order to help you, I need you to tell me where I can take you tomorrow, or if there's someone in town you know."
Mar 21, 2016 07:59PM

140628 She was getting weirder by the second. But for some reason, it was endearing. He shook his head with a smile. "I'm not hungry, but thanks. You can have it all." Maven stood to close the blinds, so that the storm outside would be less frightening for her. "Better?"
Mar 21, 2016 05:11PM

140628 What?

"Right..." Phone was out of question then. He eyed how she held the bag as if it was the first time she saw one. She really had no idea of what to do with it. He slowly took it from her hands and opened it, before offering it back to her.
Mar 21, 2016 12:53PM

140628 He leaned against the doorframe feeling kind of awkward around her. "Yeah, dinner isn't until a bit, but I think..." He rummaged around in his backpack and finally found what he was looking for. He went and sat next to her, handing her a bag of chips. "So, do you need me to call anyone for you?"
Mar 21, 2016 09:16AM

140628 While she changed, Maven rushed downstairs to clean the floor, wiping out their trace. Of course, he wasn't completely noiseless and his mom heard him. Luckily, there wasn't anything strange in a wet floor when you come from outside when it's raining.

He returned to his room, and knocked. Hopefully, his sister and her would be about the same size. "Done?"
Mar 20, 2016 09:39PM

140628 He quickly took off his hoodie and then frantically looked around the room. True, it didn't have any of those things, but he did have a couple of sports trophies on a shelf. But right then, what he needed was dry clothes. And clean ones. He raked his fingers through his hair. "Here," he spotted a sweater of his and handed it to her, and... He sighed. "Wait a second." He disappeared to another room for a moment and then returnd with a pile of clothes, girl clothes. He shuddered "Um... those are my sister's. She's away at college, so... you can wear those. Okay, I'll leave you to it, lock the door," he said, and quickly left.
Mar 20, 2016 09:17PM

140628 "No, no, no, this way," he whispered. He grabbed her by the shoulders and gently steered her towards the stairs. They were leaving a trail of water all over the floor. His mom would kill him. "Let's go."
Mar 20, 2016 09:08PM

140628 "Now, upstairs." He closed the door behind him, sighing in relief when he heard the TV on in the living room. That meant they were watching their scheduled Star Wars marathon. He didn't want them asking questions he didn't even know the answer too. Besides, he would only let her dry herself, maybe lend her something dry to wear too, and let her use his phone to call someone. He motioned for her to follow him up the stairs, to his room.
Mar 20, 2016 08:53PM

140628 He was not convinced at all. Maven stared at her for a few moments but then nodded. "Fine." Quickly, he got her to his house. It wasn't night yet, but the sky was a depressive gray, and the lights were on. He guided her to the back door and pressed a finger to his lips. "My parents are home, but it's best if they don't know you're here." He opened the door and checked first if the coast was clear before ushering her inside.
