Tessa Claremont spent the summer she turned eighteen with Noah Bova, the one boy in their small town she’d had a crush on for years. Noah was off to the Navy and she was off to explore Europe and figure out her life.

She wanted to keep in touch but didn’t know how to tell him because neither of them was the relationship type. She kept her feelings to herself and left town for her great adventure which turned into a six-year nightmare when she’s kidnapped by her half-brother to right a family wrong.

After six years she’s rescued, a shell of her former self who has to return to the town where Noah still lives. Noah’s life hasn’t exactly turned out like he planned either and he’s now entangled in organized crime and enough demons that Tessa should steer clear of him.
