║↬|Personality|↫║ Gunner is, for the lack of a better word, a huge flirt. Extremely focused in his school work and in sparring matches, but in everyday situations, he is relaxed and laid back as well as a huge trouble maker. If there is any mischief to be had, he and his best friend and partner-in-crime, are usually at the heels of it. While extremely social and outgoing, Gunner has little too much experience in dealing with girls. He's always charming when he's around a girl he likes. Since he was young, Jeremy's always known exactly what he wants and exactly how he's getting it. He is extremely driven to be the best that he can be in his chosen field, and is loyal down to his core, determined to keep both his loved ones and the innocent safe with the talents and tools that he has at his disposal.

║↬|History|↫║ Gunner had always dreamed of being a marine. In his mind, it was in his blood; he came from a long line of marines on his father's side of the family, each one protecting the ones that didn't have a chance of protecting themselves against those who sought to harm them. He grew up on the stories of his ancestors, often told to him by his father. They had a rich family history, a proud one. One that Gunner dreamed of upholding. He studied every hour he could get to himself, intent on bettering himself, striving to be the best soldier that he could be. Gunner trained every chance he could get; it was not uncommon to see him sparing against his cousins, picking up tips and lessons from them, soaking it all in like a sponge.

Everyone thought he would be one of the best marines that had yet to come from the Steele bloodline, watching him grow with pride as he trained to be accepted into the West Point, the top military academy in world for aspiring soldiers to learn and train. However, that all came to a screeching halt the day Gunner was bitten. It was an accident of the worse kind; Gunner had been out for a jog when he was jumped by a rabid wolf with glowing red eyes. Caught completely by surprise, Gunner didn't stand a chance, only just managing to wound the beast before it sank its teeth into his shoulder. After a brief struggle, Gunner managed to scare the wolf away by slamming the hilt of his knife against it's head, giving him time to get away as it ran off.

Gunner struggled with what happened everyday, feeling lost and confused as to what to do next. He couldn't be the marine he always dreamed of being, not when his eyes glowed gold when he was upset, or when he changed into a huge wolf during full moons. He was on the verge of giving up when he received an invitation to join the Alpha Unit, as they had recently been turned into wolves themselves. It's what convinced Gunner not to abandon his dreams. After slowly accepting that he had changed, Gunner put all of his efforts into learning everything that he could do and blending it in with what he's already been taught.

Gunner, himself, doesn't care...the werewolf took something from him that he can never get back. He doesn't know what he would do if he ever came face to face with his "maker".
