((Well, the vampire like attacks had happened during the day so we suspected a daylighter, though it seemed unlikely it was only logical to investigate during the time of the attacks.))

I'm sorry I haven't been on very much lately. Since school has started up again, I've been pretty busy. I can't guarantee I'll be on a lot, but I'll try to post more.

"So, Kain," Adrianna began, quite awkwardly, "what happened with the vampires? I mean, you went over there to take care of it during the day, which really doesn't make any sense," she pointed out, she was admittedly a bit confused by why they had decided to do so.

We aren't going to have any "from the book" characters. Sorry.

Adrianna had wanted to help out with the vampires, but they had insisted it was nothing and could be taken care of in no time, so she had stayed behind. She said nothing.

((If she was half as funny as she thought she was, she would be twice as funny as she is!))

"Yea, training is going fine," Adrianna said. She didn't talk to Kain very often. In fact, she didn't talk to anyone in the institute very often, only when she had to.

"Looks like I owe you a dollar," Adrianna joked as she peered out to the hallway. "Hi, Kain."

"Well, get over here with me," Adrianna said, rolling her eyes. "Come on."

Adrianna walked silently to the door, opening it slowly. She glanced back at Gwen.

"We should go check it out," Adrianna suggested. "Even if it is probably nothing, it could be interesting."

Adrianna's ear twitched, hearing the low thump if footsteps outside the door. "Who do you think that is?" she asked as she looked over at the door.
