I think if you really like the book and don't want it to be ruined by a movie don't watch the movie. Its PG-13 while the book was definitely not on PG-13 level so they definitely added unnecessary drama and action.
...Not that I could watch it anyways...

Also if he rode down the sled in his memory many many generations ago who brought the sled up there again and left it there for so long? :P

I read the book in 6th grade and now. I remember finding parts of the book terrifying when I was young (the killing of the twin). What I don't understands that if other communities came to visit weren't they the same as this community? So how did he end up in a different place/ normal place all of the sudden? How many places were in "sameness" and how many weren't?
