She giggled and started skipping forwards, "Hey Nick! Try and catch me!" She laughed as she weaved in and out of the trees. She propelled herself forward with wind and then turned to look at him with a bright smile. She stuck her tongue out at him and giggle. He turned around, wiggled her butt innocently and then started running again.

"Okay!" She said as she started walking forwards, "Its this way!" She giggled as she let go of his hand and started running forwards, "Bet you cant catch me!" She giggled as she darted behind a tree and peeked out at him.

"Okay." She said with a nod as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "Where are we gonna go?" She asked as she bounced up and down on her toes and giggled. "Maybe we can go eat!" She said excitedly. She laughed at the thought, "Or we could go to the library!"

"Really?" He asked quietly as she slowly laced her fingers in his. She giggled slightly. She felt so happy. She squeezed his hand and smiled up at him, "Thanks." She giggled. "You're really nice." She said as she bounced on her toes.

Eva turned around, grabbing Nick's hand out of instinct, "Hi." She replays with a wave. She looks at Nick and then at their hands, "Oh my gosh! Sorry!" She said as she shot her hand from his, "I promise that was an accident..." She whispered as she looked at the ground.

"Its fine." She said with a forced laugh and a smile, "Really..." She whispered as she looked down at the ground. "Im just being dumb... Like usual." She said with a small nod, "Stupid Eva..." She whispered. She looked up at him, "But atleast you're smart... And probably not as sensitive as me." She wiped her eyes, "Look at me. I'm a mess." She laughed.

"Its... Its fine..." She said as she looked back at him and wiper her eyes once more. She smiled at him, "I'm... I'm being stupid, like always." She said, trying to laugh it off. She wiped her eyes again and turned around to leave again, "Yeah, im just being dumb." She said as she shook her head. She sneezed twice and then slowly started walking away, looking back at him with a sad expression and a wave.

She quickly put her jacket on and turned around. Why did it seem like he was being so hostile towards her. He wiped her eyes, trying to be as discreet as possible. She took a few steps away and waved behind her, "I... um... I think im just gonna go home now." She said as she looked at the small stream that blocked her path. She rose her arm to her side so it was parallel to the ground and swiped it across her chest, forcing a gale to form in front of her. A few small trees were chopped in half and she then jumped over the water, "I'll see you later i guess." She said as she looked back at him, trying to hide the tears but failing. She forced a smile and waved at him as she stood there.

Eva looked at him patiently, she knew she wasn't getting an answer so she nodded, "Okay..." She whispered to herself as she looked back to the ground, "Sorry... Again, for touching you." She apologized in a small voice with a small frown. Her lip quivered as she tried to think of all the times her happy personality scared people off when she talked to him. At least he didn't think she was insane. Or did he? No, probably not, he seems nice.

"Are... Are you cold?" She asked as she took off her small black jacket, "I... I dont know if it will fit you very well but it is very warm." She held it out for him and wrapped one arm around herself to try and keep herself warm.

Her eyes widened in excitement when he said those words, "That so cool!" She said happily, "We could be best friends because i can control wind so i can make your flames even larger by supplying them with more oxygen!" She explained. She bounced up and down on her toes and touched his shoulder. "Oops! Sorry!" She said as she shot her hand off of his shoulder, "I... I didn't mean to..." She whispered as she looked at the ground.

She held her hands together behind her back and looked at the red and gold leaves that littered the ground. She scratched the back of her head, "So, um, Nick...Nicholas, sorry. Why... Why dont you like it when people touch you?" She asked as she looked up at him and tilted her head.
